The Face Claim Rules and List

1. What is a Face Claim?
A Face Claim is when you take a character someone else has made, like Naruto, Ichigo, or Natsu, and you "claim" it to represent your character on site. We highly recommend using anime characters since it keeps with the most popular aesthetic on the site. We do not recommend using real or "live action" people. Once you have claimed your Face Claim, or FC, no one else can use it. If you become inactive or archive the character, you relinquish the FC and another can use it. An FC can only be approved when the character in question has been reviewed and approved by staff. Once your character has been submitted, the FC you are using is automatically reserved. You will not lose it because staff has not reviewed your app.

What is a Face Claim reserve?
When you reserve an FC, you have 3 weeks to complete the character application and submit it. A reserve shows members you are in-progress on a character with that FC and they cannot take it until the reserve expires. If your reserve expires, and someone else reserves the FC you wanted, that is the way things go. Three weeks is enough time to get a character submitted. You must wait one week to reserve a FC for the second time.

What is a Shared Face Claim?
A share is when two or more members are wanting to use the same Face Claim and agree to share it. This happens if you want to make twins or you started working on a character with the same FC at the same time as someone else. If someone does not want to share, first come, first serve. The best way to prevent any hard feelings here is to put a reserve up when you decide on the FC, put up a WIP with a picture as soon as you start the character, or just be very vocal in Discord about the FC you are using. We will not force a share, so be diligent.
